Josh Wojcik

Long-standing Key Club Member Josh Wojcik is a southern Idaho native but has called Seattle home for the last 19 years. He works as an Enterprise Architect for a large Canadian software company and credits a friend in the wine industry with his introduction to Long Shadows Vintners. Our unique relationship between Washington grapes and world-renowned winemakers was intriguing enough to lead him our way to learn more about our story. He became a member in our Woodinville tasting room in February of 2014. Josh has enjoyed our wines so much that after four years as a Key Club member, he joined the SHOUP Club as well.

Usually, events are such a big part of being a Key Club member, and Josh recalls some of his favorite memories of attending Release Weekend BBQs at the winery in Walla Walla. Also high on the list of most important perks, are access to the special members-only delights that winemaker Gilles Nicault creates, like the Vintage Select series, SHOUP and Côté Nicault. “All of the wines and the people behind them are top-notch in my eyes!” says Josh.

We ask each of our member spotlight participants what their favorite Long Shadows wine is. Josh says, “it’s hard to pick, but I’m always drawn to Cabernet Sauvignons, which means Feather and Saggi are always high ranking!” With the warm weather on the horizon, Josh plans on enjoying Cymbal, Dance, Julia’s Dazzle Rosé, but, truth be told, he enjoys reds year-round and has a library bottle of Feather that is calling his name.
